Can I stay with my current broker?

Absolutely. But if you're considering a move, our Andrews Realty Group affiliate offers a unique opportunity in a non-corporate environment. No desk fees or floor time, and our in-house call center provides steady leads.

Isn't this a conflict of interest?

Not at all. The buyer can get their mortgage from any lender they prefer. This is just another option available to them. A top producer ($30 million a year) says "I tell my buyers I'll beat any loan but they can go where they want. Most of them go with me, but if they don't I never bring it up again."

How can you be competitive with the big banks?

In essence, we are a big bank, as we are a correspondent lender with Flagstar Bank, one of the top ten mortgage banks in the US. We have earned a Four Star rating with them--their highest designation--based on our performance. This entitles us to the best pricing on mortgage products.

Doesn't this violate my broker agreement?

It's highly unlikely. Most broker agreements don't refer to the possibility at all, but you should take a look to be sure.  If for some reason it is not allowed, maybe you need another broker. Give us a call!

Don't you have to be a math wiz to be a loan originator?

No. Since you are a real estate agent, you already have the necessary skill set to originate mortgages. We'll help you with any issues or concerns you have at every step of the process.

I'm a solo operator with a lot on my plate. Won't this create a lot more work?

It will create a little more work, but the remuneration far outweighs it. Your designated loan assistant will "own" the file as soon as you bring in a lead. Our Dual Agents typically get 30-50% of their annual commissions through mortgages (purchases and refis).
